First Day of School 2016-17

Hannah is starting 7th grade and Haydn 5th grade.  Both ride the same bus this year. Haydn's 1st year on the bus!  Have a great year girls!

Big changes happened yesterday at our house! We took down our swing set. We had it for 11 years. It served us well but was time to pass it on! Sorta sad my girls are growing up. We had it as long as the girls could remember!

Fogle 2016

We had our annual Fogle Lake trip this weekend. Last night we were trying to figure out how many years we have been doing this.  It has either been 6-7 years I believe. The girls look forward to this one night each year.  This year we didn't ride horses or canoe/kayak but we toured the Diagonal High School. I went to school there through 6th grade. It was fun to walk around the halls of DHS. I took pictures of the kids sitting in my grandmas library desk and she also punched lunch tickets as well.

Hannah turns 13 today! We now have a teenager!   I bought her Birkenstocks while we were in TN, something that she wanted this summer.  She also got new socks, waffle makers and measuring spoons of her own.  She has started baking this winter and really enjoys it!
