Grand Blue Mile 2017

Wes and the girls ran in the GBM last night downtown Des Moines.  Haydn and Wes ran in the rec race and Hannah ran in the womens competitive. All 3 of them did a great job.  Hannah improved her time last year by 30 seconds and Haydn beat her time she wanted! Wes said she gave it all she got! Hannah got 3rd in her age group in which she got a $50 GC to Scheels! Win for her!!

Haydn's Birthday in MA

Haydn usually celebrates her Birthday with Easter each year. We headed to MA for Easter this year (as we always do). She gets twice the candy and gifts!

Haydn chose Glazed Expressions for her friend party Saturday night.  The 4 girls (plus Hannah) had a lot of fun painting. It was fun to see the girls create their masterpieces!  Easy Peasy for me, I sat back and was able to watch them do all the work!  Three of girls she invited were unable to attend due to tournament basketball and soccer games. So it was a small quaint group.

Haydn is 11

Haydn turned 11 today!!  We started out the morning opening gifts. She was up and ready to open gifts!  Wes went and got breakfast pizza from Casey's for the girls for breakfast. I took her out for lunch at Korner Kone in Dallas Center. She chose Chick-fil-A for supper.  She wasn't feeling well so we came home, I was looking forward to ice cream after supper. oh well (we later found out she had strep throat, bummer for her birthday)!
