Tonight we went down to Brenton Skating Plaza. It was alot of fun. We actually skated for close to 2 hrs!  Well the girls and I!!  Wes skated around a few times and then was photographer! 

Christmas 2012

We had a wonderful Christmas morning. The girls got up around 6:30. They came into our room and crawled into bed with us. They didn't mention anything about coming downstairs but the minute I said something they shot out of bed and headed down. They were very happy with what they got. We were all spoiled! I feel very lucky!

Last night we celebrated Christmas with Grandma Marcia, Adam, Natalie, Eliott and Owen. We had supper, opened gifts, played games and just had fun!

Christmas in MA

We headed to Mt Ayr for Christmas on Friday. Hannah had her field trip to see the Nutcracker in the afternoon. We did pull the girls out alittle early to get on our merry way!  We had a great time with the Cunningham's back this year. Vada and Isla had a good time with their IA cousins (I think)! The weekend went too fast!!  Anna Leigh wanted snow, but we didn't get any snow!  It was nice enough the guys got to go golfing a couple times.

Jolly Holiday Lights

I took the girls down to JHL tonight. I love going and it seemed like this year there were more displays.  Each year I then drive the girls by AIB to show them where I went to school.  As we got into the parking lot Hannah says "there are no mini vans here"!  yes, there are no mini vans I say, I don't think many college kids want to drive a mini van!  Hannah was amazed at how small the campus was and I even told her that the gym wasn't there when I went there! We then drove to WDM and at supper at and old stomping ground of mine across the street from Hamlet. After supper we drove by my old apt and even was able to see in it as people were just getting home with groceries! They still have the mirrored closet doors in the dining area. I guess not too many updates have accrued there. It was probably more fun for me reminiscing through the night. The girls were good and I know they enjoy JHL. 

Santa Comes to Town

Santa came to town today.  He was riding around on a fire truck with the sirens on letting all the kids know he has arrived.  We went up to the Community Center, the girls made some crafts and watched a few dance teams dance. The line to see Santa was LONG!!  The girls didn't want to wait that long to see him.  We bought some goodies from a girl scout troop. They were yummy!!  I only took two pics.  I think the girls had a good time!! 

 Haydn did end up make a penguin craft later.
