Christmas with Grandma Marcia

We celebrated Christmas with Marcia and Steve last night at their home. Adam and family were there also. Geoff was unable to get off for the weekend. Missed him though! Marcia made a delicious meal for lunch.

We headed over to Adam and Natalie's hotel for swimming and pizza. Today we ate lunch with Jim in Winterset. Fun weekend! 

Christmas Morning 2015

The girls woke up at 7:02! I believe Santa was good to them yet again this year. Merry Christmas to everyone!

Stanley 2015

Watson Christmas 2015

We celebrated Christmas last night with my side of the family. This year we were not able to get to MA before the holidays arrived so we met at Kayren's to open gifts then headed to a hotel for pizza and 4 Iowa cousins spent the night with Nana and Papa. It was a quick Christmas celebration but fun non the less! 

 We had Stella's name.

 Mom even remembered to bring the "Night Before Christmas" book up. They have read this book since Hannah was a baby and taking a picture each year.

Christmas Baking

Hannah has taken a liking to baking this fall. We have done a lot of baking over the past few weeks. Marcia came out and even baked with the girls one day.  This is what we gave the neighbors.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

GOTR 2015

Haydn ran her 2nd 5k today! The weather was good for November. Wes ran with her this year. Hannah was a Jr coach this year (too old to run). Both girls really enjoy the program. Grimes has a great program. We have GREAT coaches! They work so well with the girls!

GOTR Practice 5k

Haydn had her practice 5k today. Last practice before the race on Saturday. I think she is ready for the real deal (I guess there is no turning back)!  Hannah was a Jr coach this year. She ran the last stretch with Haydn, glad I got a picture of them running together! Hannah really does love her sister sometimes!

Trunk or Treat

Marcia's real estate had trunk or treat tonight. Hannah dressed up but just helped Grandma. Haydn actually walked around getting candy then helped Grandma. It was cold and windy tonight. It was fun, minus the wind!

Pumpkin Carving 2015

We (Wes and the girls) carved pumpkins tonight. Wes enjoys the creative project and the girls did most of the carving this year!

new siding

We had our house resided last week. It all stemmed from our half moon window in our master bedroom. When it rained really hard, it would leak through the half moon window. So instead of band-aiding the problem, $2000. here $2000 there we decided to bite the bullet and reside the whole house. I really LOVE the trim around the windows the most. The white makes the house pop! Hopefully we will notice a big change next summer with the half moon window gone. 1). our bedroom faces the west, the west sun it brutal in the summer. 2). the new window is more energy efficient. The new color of siding in slate grey. We really love they new siding!

 see the missing house wrap?  Yes, there was missing house wrap in different spots on the house. Well that should help with our heating/cooling bill! They took off all the old and replaced new wrap on the WHOLE house!
