Grand Blue Mile 2016

The girls and Wes ran their 1st Grand Blue Mile last night. It was a beautiful evening for the run. They estimated close to 4000 runners in the different races, kids run, recreational, mens/womens competitive and mascot fun run. Both girls ran their hearts out!

Bottom Braces

Hannah got her bottom braces today! She mentioned tonight that her bottom braces were sore today, but for the most part she never complains!!  She is a trooper!! 

Skate North Birthday Party

Haydn's friend party was at Skate North. I believe she has roller skated maybe twice. All the girls walked the walk for awhile but got pretty confident towards the end as they were dancing to the music and skating. It was a great 2 hr workout for them. We had pizza and cupcakes as well. She had Ella and Callie spend the night and all 3 of them were asleep by 10:30. Not a wild night at all!!

Haydn was up early this morning, excited for her birthday! We had time to open all her gift before she needed to get off to school and Hannah was able to see her open them as well before she had to get on the bus!! YAY!! 

 Hannah bought her a card and wrote some funny inside jokes between the two of them. Haydn was laughing so hard that she was almost crying!

our gift to her was a new bike, she has outgrown her current one. I took her to subway for lunch and then we ate supper at Okoboji.  I think she had a great day celebrating being 10!

Haydn is double digits

Haydn turns 10 today! Double Digits!!  She has now surpassed her half way mark of living at home!!  NO!!!  The next 8 years will go as fast if not faster, I am sure!
